1. About This Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how ZooBoo ("we", "our", or "the app") handles information when you use our mobile application. ZooBoo is a children's educational app designed for toddlers to explore animals, listen to animal sounds, and collect stickers.

We are committed to protecting the privacy of all users, especially children. This policy explains what data the app uses and why.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

ZooBoo does not collect any personal information, including but not limited to:

• Names, email addresses, or any account credentials
• Location data
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Contacts, camera, or microphone access
• Usage analytics or crash reports sent to external servers
• Any data from children

3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

ZooBoo stores a small amount of data only on your device using your operating system's local storage. This data never leaves your device. It includes:

• Which animal stickers have been collected
• The number of stars earned
• Your sound on/off preference

This data is used solely to remember your progress between sessions. You can erase it at any time via Settings → Reset All Progress in the app, or by uninstalling the app.

4. No Internet Connection Required

ZooBoo works entirely offline. All animal images, sounds, and content are bundled with the app. The app does not make any network requests during normal use.

The Google Fonts library included in the app is configured with allowRuntimeFetching: false, meaning fonts are loaded from the app bundle and no external font requests are made.

5. Third-Party Services

ZooBoo does not integrate any third-party advertising networks, analytics platforms, social media SDKs, or data collection services. The app uses the following open-source Flutter packages solely for local functionality:

• audioplayers — plays local animal sound files
• shared_preferences — stores progress data locally on-device
• provider — in-app state management
• google_fonts — fonts loaded from the app bundle, no network calls
• flutter_animate — UI animations
• share_plus — lets the device's native share dialog share text or images when the user explicitly triggers it; no data is sent by ZooBoo itself

None of these libraries send data to external servers on our behalf.

6. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K)

ZooBoo is designed for young children and is fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and equivalent regulations such as GDPR-K.

Because the app does not collect any personal information from anyone — children or adults — no parental consent is required for data collection purposes. No data is transmitted off the device.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

All locally stored progress data remains on your device until you reset it or uninstall the app. We have no access to this data and cannot delete it on your behalf; it is fully under your control.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we update this Privacy Policy, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
